friendly staff delicious breakfast
The reception staff were friendly. I received information and a map, very helpful. The breakfast was AMAZING!!! It included a full English breakfast cooked to order. I would certainly stay here again.
The drain in my bathroom didn't work, so it flooded. The room phone also did not work. maintenance addressed the issues quickly.

This location is ideal. The hotel is opposite a park and gardens. It is also a short walk into town, approximately two minutes. Secure car parking is at the rear of the building.

The hotel has a garden bar outside. The bar has a great atmosphere in the evening. I found the breakfast was superb. The hotel includes atmospheric Tea Rooms.

The staff were helpful and looked after me well. I was given an upgrade to a premium room. I also found a personal message with chocolates in the room. The reception staff were professional.

i stayed in a superior double room. the bathroom features modern fixtures. it has complimentary toiletries and soft towels. i found the bed comfortable.

clean room fresh milk quality teas serviced room
the room was clean. a mini fridge was available with fresh milk. the hospitality tray had quality teas and coffee. the room was serviced properly everyday.
the decor in the restaurant seemed dated and lacked table clothes. this gave the restaurant a cafe like feel that was not what i was expecting.

The location was ideal with a short walk into town.
The breakfast was disappointing. Scrambled eggs seemed not freshly cooked with a rubbery texture. The bacon was very fatty and the sausage was only just cooked. breakfast did not represent value for money.

modern amenities friendly staff excellent bar food
The hotel has been updated well. my room had modern amenities and air conditioning worked wonderfully. the sunday lunch in the restaurant was amazing, and the bar food was also excellent. the staff were friendly, really creating a cute environment.
The bedside lamps were quite large and took up a lot of space on the small bedside tables. It was odd.

The hotel provides onsite parking for a daily fee. Laura and Natasha gave me very helpful information upon my arrival. The room contained a cafetière, fresh coffee, coffee bags and fresh milk.
The hotel's decor looked dated.
